Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Branch Manager
Position Summary: Full-time position primarily responsible for providing superior customer service, both on the phone and in person, to all customers. Additional duties include: posting payments, making bank deposits, doing daily processing work, completing and processing loan applications, collecting payments, making bank deposits, and making collection calls.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent degree required, ability to take payments and maintain a cash drawer, previous consumer finance or consumer lending experience is preferred, exceptional communication and customer service skills, and proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Job Title: Assistant Manager
Reports to: Branch Manager
Position Summary: Full-time position primarily responsible for managing daily operations of the Branch and assists the Branch Manager with service to existing and potential customers. Additional duties include: Proactively reviewing the daily level of staff coverage; Monitoring and approving daily expenditures; Analyzes and originates, approves and denies, recommends counteroffer and up-selling opportunities for loans.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- High school diploma plus either completions of an Associate’s Degree (or two (2) years of college course work) in a discipline such as personnel management, business, accounting, marketing, finance, administration, economics: or recent successful (within past three (3) years) completion of a lending training program or other closely aligned courses of study. Four years of related experience in a sales/and/or financial services industry can be substituted for the college degree or completion of the lending training program.
- In addition to the educational requirements listed above, incumbents must have an additional three years of related experience in financial services, insurance or sales industry.
- Outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills required at time of hire and ongoing to resolve problems of customers, both internal and external and to successfully utilize financial, human, and technological resources to meet established business goals.
- Must possess excellent written communication skills to compose professional, error-free correspondence, together with sufficient personal computer skills to compose such correspondence and format various reports utilizing PC software.
